Brendan Stanley

I am a North West born portrait artist, currently residing in the South East. I work mainly with oil on canvas, creating impasto style paintings using palette knives. I try to capture poverty in a different perspective – choosing subjects from impoverished backgrounds, whilst introducing rich and vibrant colours to bring warmth to my pieces.
