Brianna independently funded her album “Harlequin”, completed her Bachelor of Popular Music degree at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music and has been gigging around Australia for the past 5 years. Her song writing skills have also gained her quite a lot of attention. 2008 - Finalist QSong “People’s Choice Award” - Final 5 Pop Category MusicOz Awards 2009 - Shortlisted Apra Professional Development Award - Final 3 in Adult Contemporary category of New Artist to Radio (NA2R) competition 2010 - Received a Development Deal after attending the Dream Inc Workshop - “Black Keys” track featured in Short Film Festival Newtown Flicks - Panavision Prize winner “What If Girl” directed by Heremaia Rudkin - Highly Commended QSong Awards - Finalist Grant McLennan Fellowship Award 2011 - Semi-Finalist International Songwriting Competition - “Black Keys” film clip selected to screen at the Dungog Film Festival - Selected to participate in the Independent Music Project’s 100 Songs in 100 hours event. - “The Way I Used To” picked as one of the top 12 tracks resulting from the Independent Music Project’s 100 Songs in 100 Hours. Featured on the internationally distributed compilation album. This year is promising to be a busy one as Brianna records her EP in her home studio.
