I’m Brian Bravender, Jr., a 7th generation New Orleanian who loves taking photographs. I\'ve been taking pictures and dabbling in many other forms of art all of my life. I feel a strong connection with art.
I have always had a passion for photography. As an art form, it allows me to capture a moment, an emotion, or a spirit. The color, architecture, and history of New Orleans have always inspired me. I say that I have the opposite of color blindness...when I see an object or a place, I see a depth and richness of color that may not be visible to the naked eye.
As much as I love people and the social aspect of life, I have a passion for photographing objects and places. Objects that people often pass by and don\'t pay attention to. Places that you wouldn\'t normally consider beautiful. Highlighting details and letting my subjects tell you their story. I\'m just capturing them on my journey through life!
