Brittany Lee Cherkes

I am a recent graduate of Bowling Green State University. I received a BFA in two-dimensional studies with a focus in painting and printmaking. I also pursued a secondary study in arts management. I now live and make work in Akron, Ohio. A future goal of mine is to receive a master\'s degree in art therapy and become a registered art therapist. I am very interested in utilizing the process of creating as a means of therapy. I spend most of my time working, creating new pieces, writing, reading and drinking coffee.
