Brittney Baker

Hello! I am Brittney Baker, a recent resident of Southern California originally from Modesto, California. I grew up in one of those families that most people can only dream of, but when I turned 19, my whole perfect way of life changed in the middle of the night with one phone call. My father, who was everything to me and the rest of my family, passed away unexpectedly and from that moment on I went from having everything, to having nothing. My mom, brother, and I were forced to relocate, which brought us to the Long Beach area to be close to family. In the midst of my life changing, it was really my faith and my family that kept me from sinking, and although times were tough (and still are sometimes), I learned so much about myself and how strong I can really be. I have been on the rise for a couple years now and I am fully set on achieving all of my goals. I want to use my art to inspire people and to teach people (especially children), that dreams are reachable if you have the courage to pursue them, just as Walt Disney said. I want to bring life and meaning back to animation and set a good example for the generations to come.
