Born and raised in Houston Texas, Bruce Hansen And The Racket is an energetic five piece with vocals to spare! Bruce and Marina Hansen are the primary voices of the band, but Chris Kritikos adds a powerful third harmony which creates the band\'s signature sound--- (a mix of pop, rock, and folk) ---he also plays a mean telecaster, and is very experienced in guitar effects pedals---providing the band with a pinch of ambiance. The backbone of the group has to be the rhythm section Zane and Mark work well together on Bass and Drums, they also have a lot of chemistry from previous bands they played with. Chris Kritikos is also a full time recording engineer for Kritikos Recording Studios and recorded the bands debut album. Marina and Bruce play every Tuesday at a club called Prospect Park in uptown from 8pm-12am. That\'s how \"The Racket\" got its start. Bruce played in a cover band called \"The Skylights\" for about three years, all the while building a steady catalog of original music.
