I\'m a 30 year-old who earned a Bachelors in fashion and a minor in ceramics at Texas Tech. I have a penchant for surface design (I love to screen print), and I like to mix and match fabrics that don\'t seem to belong together. I\'m a native Houstonian, but moved to San Antonio one year ago; I\'ve been married almost 3 years, and own 3 cats. I was taught to sew in 4th grade by my mother, and I never looked back since then. Who knew then how much I would learn to love that skill? Now, when I have problems sleeping, you\'ll find me sewing all through the night; lights on, machine whirring, and music playing-nothing wakes my husband in the other room. :) My weakness is retro dresses-when there is a pattern sale at the fabric store, I\'ll stock up on every dress from the 50\'s with a full circle skirt I can find. Then, slowly, I will work my way through them, and make them, one by one. I love to imagine life was like \"Pleasantville\" back in the day. Either way, the fashions were fantastic, and I love to wear them. So I guess that\'s me, in a nutshell.
