Growing up listening to Toni Braxton, Anita Baker, Johnny Guitar Watson, Luther Vandross and Gospel has certainly impacted her style. But, although she is influenced by the soulful sounds of the past she aims to create music that is timeless and reaches older, younger and future generations. She has deemed herself the “R&Belle” of her generation, a term she coined to describe her classic style and charismatic ways. Bryssa prides herself on being relatable and humble and aims to be a positive influence that others can look up to. She hopes to inspire and empower women and girls everywhere as she sings about everything from love to life.
