I am an afro-futurist artist, working in photography and digital collage. Through my work I consider the past present and future as way to construct a science-fictional reality from an Afrocentric prospective. A majority of my work is self portraiture as a means of reconfiguring the subjectivity of the black or African American figure in photography.
