A picture is worth a thousand words, but cannot tell you why the shadows played with the sun. My focus as an artist is cross-cultural and inter-generational conversations. My theme is both the self found internally individually, as well as the self found in society as a whole. We live at a time in history when many conversations are being juxtaposed with other conversations. As an artist I seek to fuse conversations in a way that makes difficult subjects palatteable. I seek to motivate growth by using words to find my limits and learn how to break them.
