Cappy Pearce

I have always loved art. I believe that it is the vessel through which I am able to express my experiences and quiet the hum of chaos that lies somewhere between my ears. After an 8 year hiatus I returned to school where I am pursuing my BFA from Metropolitan State University in Denver, Colorado. I feel as if I have found new life in my work and spend most of my energy working in the area of conservation art. I have a strong connection with both the life that surrounds me and its death that greatly saddens me. I hope to challenge my viewer and question our collective responsibility as humans. Through art I have found the greatest gift of healing and becoming whole.
