Carmely Photography

My name is Carmel Schiff, and I\'ve been living in Colorado for about 15 years. I\'m originally from South Florida. I recently started building Carmely Photography. \"Carmely\" is my nickname; my family and close friends call me that. Almost every day, I try to take pictures. It is more than a hobby for me; it\'s my passion! I never leave the house without my camera and/or iPhone camera. I mostly take pictures of landscapes, but I\'ve recently started taking portraits of people. My photography is the most optimistic part of myself because I can find beauty anywhere; I always have my eyes peeled for photographic opportunities. When I\'m not taking pictures, I\'m at work as an Activities Assistant in a nursing home. I enjoy making people smile, especially the elderly. They have so many amazing stories, and I have the utmost respect for them. I enjoy spending time with my friends, family, and dog. I also love traveling, going to concerts, attending festivals, watching movies, singing karaoke, playing piano, and painting. I\'m loud, friendly, smart, sarcastic, eccentric, creative, compassionate, and a hopeless romantic. I\'m a Pisces with a Leo rising, which means I\'m introspective and dreamy, but I\'m also extremely outgoing. I often compare myself to \"Hannah\" on the HBO show, GIRLS, but I\'m not nearly as selfish, and I don\'t enjoy wearing ill-fitting, hipster clothing. Ha! It\'s difficult to write about myself...
