Music – San Antonio

I was born and raised in Beeville, Tx. Received my BS from Texas A&M & moved to South America to figure out my life\'s path while immersed in a language I\'d always been in love with. I returned to apply for grad school and received my MS in Occupational Therapy 2.5 yrs later. I lived on South Padre Island (and briefly in Brownsville) until 2013, when my partner and I moved to the San Antonio area. I wanted simply to be a bit closer to my grandparents/family for a while. I grew up in a VERY musical family, but was VERY shy with my own musical passions growing up. My parents got me a guitar when I was 14. Quickly, with dad\'s guidance & an old songbook with a chord chart in the back, I found myself able to strum and sing simple songs. Soon after this, I discovered my love of songwriting. I remained shy until my 2nd year in college when friends and family encouraged me to sing and be silly as June Carter in The Johnny Cash Cover Band. My entire life has been a journey of musical discovery...learning about myself & about others...music is my outlet to the world. I adore the opportunity to share my music & my tales with anyone and everyone who has interest. I currently play around the San Antonio/Austin area and am enjoying the adventure of realizing the nonexistent boundaries of my passion.
