Carson Brock & The Effect are made up by Austin Musicians such as Colter Lutz on Drums, Patrick Mertens on Backing Guitar, and Kyle Brock on Bass, and Carson Brock on Lead Guitar and Vocals.
The Band formed together with this line-up in mid 2012, although Carson has been playing around Austin with other people on and off for the past few years. \"This band definitely has a deeper impact on the sound and communication we bring to the table, as far as representing who we are and what we\'re about.\"
- Brock says.
\"It\'s really just old school rock. It\'s kinda like if Soundgarden met Led Zeppelin, that\'s what we are mainly going for.\"
They have an Upcoming Album that will be released in early 2013. They have been in and out of the studio since early 2012 recording their own array of original songs for the record. \"Its taken us a while to get this thing finally almost wrapped up. Most bands can spend weeks or months in the studio with barely any break at all. We\'ve chosen to do little spurts of going in one step at a time whenever we have new ideas to bring to the table for the songs.\"
The Album will deliver a collage of Vintage Rock\'N\'Roll sounds to Louder Robert Johnson-Esque tones. Such as tracks, \"Get What You Need\" and \"Hold It Down\"
