Visual Art – New Orleans

Casey Amelia Parkinson uses clay as her primary art medium, creating a variety of utilitarian ceramics, sculpture, and installation art. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2008, and her M.F.A. from Louisiana Tech University in May of 2014. Casey’s award winning artwork has been featured in numerous national juried exhibitions. Currently, in New Orleans, the Ogden Museum of Southern Art is showcasing her teapot with teacups in the \"Art of the Cup\" Exhibition. She enjoys involvement in through memberships in NCLAC (North Central Louisiana Arts Council) and NCECA (National Council on the Education for the Ceramic Arts)and looks forward to more exhibiting opportunities in New Orleans.
