Visual Art – Boston

I am the Mandala Goddess - I make works on paper and stone about patterns and connections in nature. I'm a yogi and I use my art practice as a form of meditation. I’m inspired by the natural world-- from the smallest succulent in the desert, to the largest galaxy in the universe--I like to find, and then make apparent, the fractal patterns that connect us all. I'm often asked how I have so much patience to make my work it, but I see it as quite the opposite: it is my art practice that helps me cultivate awareness of my breath and the patience to find focus. My works on paper are often pencil or stipple drawings. I love portraiture, and often incorporate astral symbols and sacred geometry. I also love to walk the beach collecting rounded stones that have been tossed by the roaring sea and use meticulously blended acrylics and small paintbrushes to make dot-mandalas on the stone surface.
