Lightologie

My name is Chastity and I would like to tell you a little about myself. I grew up in Southern California and ever since I can remember, I have always enjoyed creating things. From sewing a purse to altering an outfit in some way (even if it meant cutting the heck out of it with scissors), I have always wanted to do things my own way. I have always loved accent lighting and the way It can really add charm to a room. My adoration for accent lighting shook hands with my love for art and design. It started with a canvas, a dash of imagination, some paint, a sprinkle of LED's and Ta-dah! I might draw inspiration from a memory, a thought or a moment. Or, it can be something I saw or even a smile. My brain wanders a lot, so I am constantly thinking of new things I can light. My work has really been an interesting journey from where it started to where it is today, and I feel that I have grown as an artist and a person. What I really love about creating canvas light art is that it is challenging and it continually allows me to use my brain and explore new ideas.
