Cellar Door Dance (CDD) was founded by Rachel Benzing in 2013. Originally based in Los Angeles, now in London, CDD is a dance company that focuses on creating work that strives to enliven and inspire both its dancers and its audience members by aiming to introduce more art into the world through awareness of everyday beauty and a genuine love for humanity. By focusing on works dealing with social forces and issues that are relevant to our society, Cellar Door hopes to bring forth dance art that is innovative, daring, and makes an impact in the world.
