Beauty – Indianapolis

As a Redken Certified Haircolorist, Design Certified Stylist, and Former National Redken Artist, Stephanie Elaine Whitton has professionally styled hair for over ten years. She opened her salon - Change It Up - in 2008. Stephanie Elaine has articles in Indianapolis Women magazine, and has done fashion segments on Indianapolis\' FOX59. A national educator for Redken for more than five years – specializing in haircolor, design, and business – her work has been featured in numerous fashion and hair shows. While working with Redken, she\'s worked with a number of internationally recognized hairstylists. This experience, their influence, and her passion for the art has shaped her career and continues to inspire her devotion to innovating new understandings and concepts. Hair is art. And art extends beyond the mere physical – it involves the human experience. To that end, Stephanie Elaine is currently focusing on growing her Community Center: inspiring and creating beauty within and without. To ensure her venture has a solid foundation, she recently engaged an undergraduate degree in Business with a concentration in small business management and entrepreneurship – specifically, she\'s interested in the Public Sector and Psychology. Passion pervades her every action, and she prides herself on her devotion to perfectionism, professionalism, and positive attitude. Spending time and helping out at Christ the Savior Lutheran church singing in the choir, High school small group leader and outreach programs are some of the ways she enjoys putting her philosophical ideals into practice. A firm believer in personal growth and development, she spends her “free time” learning how to dance, play the guitar, and sing.
