My name is Shelbie, born in New Orleans, Louisiana and raised in Houston, Texas. From a very young age, I fell in love with all art ranging from drawing, painting, crafting of all kinds, music, films, and much more. Then my eyes became set on photography. My first camera was a small, simple powershot. I ran around taking pictures of random flowers and bugs, you know, the easiest things to find. My parents eventually purchased Photoshop Elements and at 14 I started to practice simple editing techniques. My next camera was an Olympus-EPL1 and throughout my high school years, that was what I used for every picture I took. I now have a Canon with a few lenses, and just about everything I know is self taught. I photograph a variety of subjects such as children and families, car shows, cosplays, and more but I love to go out and make my own set ups and photograph dark and creepy things. My plans are to grow in this field and push myself to be better in it. I\'ve been very fortunate to have a lot of support from my family and friends and I know I have many opportunities awaiting me.
