The 22nd annual 2012 LOS ANGELES MUSIC AWARDS named CHEATING DAYLIGHT their 2012 “ROCK ARTIST of the YEAR”. The Indie Music Fest, in Las Vegas, named the rock quintet their 2012 INDIE ARTIST of the YEAR. Cheating Daylight performed live at the Malibu Music Awards at Pepperdine University\'s Smothers Theatre, where they were presented with the 2013 \"NEW ARTIST of the YEAR\" award by celebrities Dick Van Dyke and Gretchen Bonaduce.
