Vincent Walker

I have been a chef for the last 18 years but 3 years ago I decided to see if I might be good at something more than just cooking. I always loved capturing pictures with my camera so I decided to go back to school and study photography. It was there that I created my company \"Eye for Life Photography\". To stand out from everyone else I decided to frame my photos a bit unique from everyone else. I came up with the idea of mounting my photos onto recycled wood, then take acrylic paint and blend the photo into the wood. When done, I wanted the finish product to seem like a painting rather than a photo. That started a new path for my work which now makes up 90% of the work I do. Since I have started I have had a bit of success in selling my art which ranges from being a vendor on the Venice Boardwalk, to being an artist in the Jeanie Madsen Art Gallery in Santa Monica, all the way to selling online at www.Etsy.com. I feel that there is no limit in ways to get exposure for the art I have created and realized recently I have a craft in which I can express the emotions and feeling I have inside.
