LA-based designer Cheryl Koo has two passions: dance and design. Cheryl always strives to find ways to bring these two worlds together, fusing forms of expression into garments for the Other Duck.
Drawing inspiration from the studio floor, the technically trained dancer channels a range of dance styles into her designs. Whether exhibiting structural details inspired by modern dance or fluid fashions inspired by lyrical dance, Cheryl’s collections always exude a highly artistic aesthetic.
The original Other Duck, Cheryl doesn’t believe in conforming to standards, but rather promotes fearlessness and pride in oneself.
