Chessa’s insightful artwork breathes life into the imagination and blossoms into a world of depth and beauty.
She is well known for a large painting of the Goddess “Isis” which is exhibited at the Dance Mission Theater in San Francisco.
Chessa received her B.A. in Theater Arts from University of California, Santa Cruz. With a background in portrait and figure drawing/painting from the Art Student’s League of New York City, U.C.S.C. and Mira Costa College, her unique style is a balanced blend of technique and rhythmic brushstrokes.
Chessa has been featured in over fifteen Galleries and Exhibits in the Bay Area including the 4N5 Gallery, Soma Arts Building and Madrone Studios in San Francisco. She currently lives in the East Bay where she is inspired by surrounding nature and wildlife as well as the urban street art from the nearby cities of San Francisco and Oakland.
She is currently focused on a 'jungle series' which features a series of jungle animal paintings as well as a women's clothing line called, "jungle undies."
