Christopharo

Visual Art – Pomona

Christopharo is a 3-D & fantasy artist who uses a variety of visual mediums from traditional and digital painting to multi-media. Since early childhood he has been inspired by dreams, fantasy, and a burning desire to be an artist. After graduating Upland High School he soon realized the importance of taking a more disciplined plan of action toward a professional art career. This plan of action led him to pursue art studies. He also enrolled in a two-year animation course that consisted of basic to advanced art studies such as the disciplines of critical thinking, creative writing, and computer fundamentals. Soon after completing the animation program, Christopharo later went on to work at a Hollywood multi-studio location, where he worked on numerous animated shows such as Cisco & Ripple (for Starz Encore); and was also contracted as an illustrator for the movie The Shape of Things (for Working Title Films). In his spare time Christopharo fine-tuned his skills at various art schools, and received guidance and mentorship from master artists such as Mark Westermoe. Christopharo also gained experience in working with digital mediums, the art of storytelling, and visual dynamics into his work. Christopharo has continued as a freelance artist, with over a decade of relationships with companies such as NBCUniversal, MGA Entertainment, and Starz Encore Group. He is currently working on a new series of 3-D fantasy themes. Christopharo is also a supporter for organizations like the Multiple Sclerosis Society, and the Biking For America.
