Visual Art – San Diego

From my earliest recollection, I have had a burning interest in art and have experimented successfully with a variety of mediums. I initially thought my being colorblind might be a stumbling block, but, au contraire, it seems to have worked to my advantage, giving me a very unique view of the color spectrum. In addition to sketching and painting, I have worked with ceramics, clay, and a number of architectural mediums, the latter being my focus of professional study. My experience with each of these unique forms of expression has built cumulatively, bringing me to the point of finding a voice and form of expression in mixed media. I see art in everything around me. To me “art” is the expression of emotion, beauty, form, and life itself. Art can be anything you want it to be and can be found anywhere you want to find it. My paintings are the synthesis of my life experience and are an expression of my view of the beauty of the world around us. I hope you feel my spirit coming through as you enjoy my work.
