Ciara Sanders is a Visual Artist from Laplace, LA. Ciara paints, she draws, and she is still in the process of experimenting with other types of media & mediums. Ciara possess a God given gift that is second to none. She began drawing at the age of 5, with stick figure girls having hair over there eye, to now having the power to create a message with a paint brush or pencil. She likes to challenge herself by being better than who she was yesterday. Ciara strives on absorbing as much information as possible when she wants to start a new project. She considers her work to be “Afrocentric” but with a dash of realism with an unforgettable style. Her view of creating new pieces is to make them “have breath.” Meaning, she wants the audience to feel like the subject can walk right off the canvas and be “life like” amongst real people. As a remarkable artist that she is, she has been drawing as long as she can remember, but only has been painting for 4 years. With continuation after high school of a lot of practicing by herself, she has been blessed with her own cliental and the opportunity of being an art instructor at a Sip n Paint business right in her hometown. Ciara believes that this is only the beginning of her success. And while she knows success is not going to be easy to reach, she is always up for a challenge.
