Cindy G. Castillo

My name is Cindy G. Castillo, I am 23 years old and currently in the journey of taking my art to another level. I came to Phoenix less than three years ago, on my own from San Luis, Arizona. Art has always been a part of me, a way for me to escape daily routines. The concept of my work is emotional growth and transformation. Most of my work has butterflies. Their evolution of a butterfly from its cocoon symbolizes my journey from being afraid to leave home and feeling alone on my own to someone that’s found her confidence, beauty and ambition to pursue what once seemed impossible.
