Chris Jones

I was born and raised in Brooklyn NY. I studied Industrial Design at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit MI. I have always had a camera in my hand, just shooting my day to day. The desire to pursue it more seriously came in 2005. I bought my first DSLR, lighting set and began my journey. I enjoy photographing people and capturing their moments in time. There is a drive to create emotion and mood in my work. I consider myself an artist with a camera. My Industrial Design background gives me a unique aesthetic. It allows me a certain level of creative knowhow that I can apply to my work as needed. It has also taught me to be open to new ideas and to adapt, without losing my own creative style I work as a 3D Computer (Alias) Modeler in the auto design industry. That career path started in Michigan, and brought me to California, where I still continue my creative photography journey
