Beauty – New York - NYC
Recreating looks from magazines or music videos has always been something I enjoyed. It wasn't until a shot in the arm from my friends that I realized I should take my love affair with makeup to a professional level. 10/10/10 was the day that I worked on my very first photo shoot. Over that past year, I've worked with incredible artists, studied countless looks, sacrificed most of my social life and learned lessons that I will carry with me throughout my career. Although I've only scratched the surface, this has all been growing at such an alarming rate. My first year working as an artist has been filled with new relationships, excitement and creativity.
I draw inspiration from other passions in my life; mainly music and the beach. While I'm driven by the NYC hustle, I often crave the serenity of the ocean and that dichotomy is commonly represented in my work. One thing I am not is a planner. I will continue to work tirelessly on the development of my career as a makeup artist. However, I feel it's best to allow things to happen organically. I have the utmost faith that by setting an intention, doing what I love and being true to myself, I will attract opportunities that are right for me and my career will unfold as it should.
