Beef\'s dark, troubled childhood and unique musical influences make him one of a kind. A Poet turned hip hop artist he started recording over industry instrumentals in 2007 and released 2 underground mixtapes. In 2008 he was accepted into college at UW-Madison. His group Zooniversity made national waves from 2009-2011. His first solo mixtape was released in October, 2011. Beef has been known to deliver very soulful conscious rhymes but has recently taken more to his signature grimy style embracing the basement sound in his music.
