Caitlin Mouri

Hi! I\'m a self-taught artist from Orange County, California. I\'ve been drawing and painting all my life, but have only recently begun pursuing it as a career. I\'m still looking for my creative niche, so my art is continuously evolving. My focus right now is plein air work, all done on the spot, usually within 4 hours. The majority are painted with acrylic on raw wood. My medium requires me to work quickly to capture the essence of a place. The final result has an energy and a presence that can only be achieved by working on location. All of my paintings are set in California.
