Accessories – Philadelphia
My name is Conrad Booker, I am a Designer/Artist who lives in Philadelphia, Pa.. I grow-up in Buffalo, New York. My parents are Conrad J. Booker( deceased) and Evelyn M. Booker(living)who livings outside of Buffalo in a small town called Grand Island, New York. I have one brother Eric. I graduated from Temple University, here in Philadelphia, with a Degree in Architecture. I worked for a architectural firm after graduation called Cathers and Associates. I worked there for four years before going out on my own as a free-lance designer. I later returned to Cathers, but as a freelance designer, later being promoted to Creative Director of Architecture, Interior and Landscaping departments. Five years ago, I went full-time as a designer/artist. I have been working on murals, fashion and handbags. Two years ago, lunched my handbag line at a local shoe boutique, called Bus Stop. Recently, I was commissioned for a 10\' x 20\' fiber textile mural for the Kimmel Performing Arts Center. I will be debut this coming April 2014. Very excited! I am also, excited about the showcasing of my work for RAW this month.
