SKL (Cotton Candy Splinters)

My name is Samantha Kelly Long. I\'m a self-taught artist aspiring to start an animation company. All the money received from my artwork will go towards my goal to establish a company and hire artists, writers, and graphic designers. I paint freehand on canvas with oils and acrylics and every so often add some pizzaz with Sharpie. I\'m also a poet, songwriter, and self-employed comic book artist. I found a love for painting when I was attending Baylor University. Harts N Crafts had a sign stating that if you bought a pair of TOMS shoes, you could paint them for free in store. After testing my skills, the girl at the counter asked if I painted often. I replied this was my first time. She told me to get some canvases, paint them and come back to talk to the store owner about selling them on commission. Upon my return, I was hired to paint custom TOMS and canvases. I\'ve been painting ever since.
