Courtney Brown

Performing Art – Raleigh

Courtney Nicole Brown (Raleigh, NC) is a student at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Courtney fell in love with dance at the age of 4. She received most of her training at CC and Company Dance Complex and Enloe High School in Raleigh, NC. At CC she received training in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop and contemporary. At Enloe, she was introduced to modern dance. She has taken class with astound teachers and choreographers such a Luam, Mandy Moore, Nick Lazzarini, Martha Nichols, Jason Parsons and Misha Gabriel, just to name a few. She has performed in The Nutcracker (2005), Leopard Tales (2005) and performed for legends such as Maya Angelou. At UNCG, she is a BFA Dance major and minoring in Entrepreneurship. She has performed with on campus group such as Dialekt Entertainment, Main Attraction Models and Cyrus Art Production. In April 2015, she founded Collaborations Dance Company at UNCG and intends on expanding the size in the near future. She will be graduating in May 2017.
