Visual Art – Nashville
My paintings are described as depictions of goddesses emerging from colorful, mystical realms. With my work, I strive to communicate the philosophy of cosmic consciousness, the idea that the universe exists as an interconnected network of consciousness, with each conscious being linked to every other conscious being. Integration of the figure and environment unifies the two entities and manmade objects are omitted in my work to invite viewers to step out of our material realm. The figures in my work represent beings of a higher consciousness that mediate the divine message between the cosmos and us. I began live painting in 2009, this environment allows me to lose sense of my “material” self in the atmospheric sounds and tap into another dimension of my creativity. Likewise, I paint in
hopes of providing viewers an escape from the monotonous material world and a sense of reawakening to our own celestial origins.
