Curt Quinn is more than your ordinary southern boy from New Orleans Louisiana . He is a phenomenal rising singer songwriter who blends Soul, Rhythm & Blues, and a pinch New Orleans Jazz influence to create his unique music.
Curt Quinn first fell in love with the art of music when he heard the smooth Jazzy tones of Sade, and Mrs. Anita Baker but later developed an ear for music listening to the complex harmonic melodies of Boys II Men .As of now his most prominent vocal influences consist of names like Carl Thomas, Music Soul Child, Lalah Hathaway, Mali Music, and Eric Roberson to name a few.
Traveling back and forth from the N.O. to Norfolk Virginia as a young man he came into his own artistry being apart of an amazing youth group called Y.E.S (Youth Entertainment Studios) This was where his creative ability blossomed and bloomed. He discovered that another extraordinary niche of his was writing music not only for his self but for other artist as well.
Curt Quinn currently resides in beautiful sunny San Diego California where he has started a buzz and is making a whole lot of noise at venues such as Belo, Onyx Room, Riley\'s, and Humphrey\'s By the Bay. These are places where artist like Erykah Badu, Janelle Monae , and Lauryn Hill have also performed. To date he has been a feature artist in Kademe Entertainments Soul Movement Tour presented by President Keyon On-Key McCray which the artist toured San Diego as well as other surrounding areas from August 2009 to August of 2010. This tour allowed Curt Quinn to create the S.O.S (\"Support Our Singers Campaign\") which grew become an instrumental factor in the networking of San Diego\'s R&B community which is filled with other talented independent artist. Curt is presently working on his first E.P. titled \"Autographed\". This project will give us an opportunity to hear his signature sound.
