Cusi Castillo

Olga Lucia Castillo Huber or how friends like to call her CUSI CASTILLO. Cusi was born in Guatemala City and raised in Cali, Colombia in a Family of artist’s, her mother, grandmother and uncle. This artistic influence and magical passion let her began studying academic painting when she was a little girl.After almost 8 years of private study in academic painting Cusi studied ESL at CPCC in Charlotte and transfered to Fashion Merchandising at the Art Institute of Charlotte in North Carolina. She moved back to Guatemala City and studied Interior Design at IFES and started painting again taking private classes with Ricardo Silva Cordero a famous painter from Chile. Since 2005 Cusi has been displayed and sold her art.She has been invited and selected to exhibits at important Galleries, Art Shows, And Museums in Guatemala City and Miami.
