Jaime Guzman

Visual Art – Los Angeles

Born in 1963, in Santa Tecla, a small town, in the hills of El Salvador, Jaime was inspired by both his Father and Grand father, who were amazing wood carving artisans and fine carpenters, from a very early age, he started making things out of nothing, when he was a kid, he used to make his own toys, and have been creating his works from found objects since then, saving treasures from the landfill. What is now called "Found objects art" or "Upcycling", he does not like to label his work in to any trend or fashion, because, "Basically I am just bringing junk, back to life."
