Cybele Peña and Goddess Gang Dance Productions

Cybele Peña is a dancer, teacher, and choreographer. She is inspired by the way dance all over the world connects community, tells the stories of people’s lives, provides a true spiritual experience, and helps the dancer connect to their truest self Her many years of training in Afro Cuban dance as well as her experiences dancing in Venezuela, learning Puerto Rican Bomba, taking Belly Dance, and even dancing at parties have helped mold her personal style. She loves teaching because it is great gift to witness people connecting to their own power, confidence, and personal expression in dance. Goddess Gang is a collective of women that represent the journey to self love, body acceptance, and personal growth through dance. Cybele currently teaches in schools through Bocón and Arts for Learning and teaches youth and adults at Culture Shock Dance Center.
