Visual Art – Houston

My artwork concentrates on the aesthetic and abstract qualities of liquids and bubbles when organized in unique compositions with the use of color, patterns, and air pressure. I am inspired by the surreal imagery of space nebulae and star fields as well as minute cellular designs such as cells and amoebas. My print process involves the use of different paints and water in various containers, which are then later photographed with a macro lens. Photoshop is often used as a tool for my desired affects with color and composition. My canvas paintings and drawings are an inspired extension of this same print process. My goal for creating this art is to produce awe within the viewer and to allow the imagination to escape into otherworldly imagery.
