Fashion – San Francisco
Daniel Laukat is an up-and-coming art-activist turned fashion-designer based out of the Sacramento area. He studied and worked as a fine artist for many years before getting into fashion design. He has sold art in Lake Tahoe and in the Sacramento area with a focus on activism, raising $1,000 for the Heifer Foundation with his art sales to provide a struggling African community with a goat. He turned his passion for fashion into eco-activism by starting a vintage store online, where he began to create and sell original up-cycled fashion designs as art-to-wear. After getting his degree in fashion design, he began creating unique one-of-a-kind fashions from recycled materials.
