Darby Guerechit

I am a self taught artist living in Honolulu, HI. I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest where my fascination with nature emerged and was fed. That fascination is continually revitalized by the vibrant colors and culture of Hawaii, where inspiration is everywhere. Painting, drawing, creating, and producing large messes brings me happiness and drives me to explore the creative corners of my mind. In addition to being an artist, I\'m also an occupational therapist. I work at a local skilled nursing facility where I help elderly patients to rehabilitate from injury and illness in order to live life to its fullest. I love to cook, decorate, tear through the racks at thrift stores, sew, hike, travel, and of course, paint.
