Visual Art – Mexico City
Through the use of unexpected color and pattern I work to transform the mundane while challenging traditional notions of gender and sexuality. Much of my work focuses on cutting through the classic representation of the male’s sexual ideal of the perfect woman---passive, proportional, and lacking personality. Our bodies are beautiful and strong but so are our brains. I work to interrupt expectations by accentuating the individualistic beauty within a variety of different body shapes and sizes.
