David Rivera

David Rivera is a natural born artist. He has been drawing since the first day he was able to lift a pencil. The first image David can remember drawing began as an American flag but, realizing that he had no idea what the flag looked like, ended up as a truck. When he gave the drawing to his parents, their response helped kindle the creative spark that would grow throughout the remainder of his life. Though art and illustration was always a hobby, it wasn’t until his late 20′s that David actually began to think of turning his artistic abilities into a career. He enrolled in The Art Center Design college and, soon after began a career as a professional graphic designer. Since then, David has started his own multi-media design studio through which he has been able to design and create: custom fonts, advertisements, logos, packaging, websites, business cards, icons, applications, games, promotional videos, retail products and, commissioned illustrations and paintings for a multitude of clients. His work has helped generate millions of dollars in revenue for clients, as well as helping to get listed in the INC 500. Currently, David is the Creative Director of his own company, Rivera Media and is seeking to fulfill his lifelong dream of creating comic books for a living.
