Dawna Lee Jewelry

The focus for my adult life has been in the art world. I received an art scholarship to go to college in Florida where I studied Studio Art. I focused mainly on pottery and sculptural ceramics. After college, my focus and passion shifted to making jewelry after a short visit to Arizona where I came across Navajo handmade jewelry. I loved the turquoise in their jewelry. I grew up in a rural area and I\'ve always been obsessed with nature. My first pieces of jewelry centered around my obsession of leaves and color. Later, I moved to Hawaii and, of course, fell in love with my new home. Hawaii\'s beaches, tropical vegetation, mountains, and climate is an explosion of inspiration. I have developed a love for searching for beautiful pieces of sea glass in the ocean and use the glass in my jewelry.
