ABOUT

Dawnamatrix holds the title of Miss Rubber World 2010 and was formally trained in the art of kimono wearing while living in Japan for many years in rural Takayama City. You will find elegant kimonos, fantastic animals with inflatable tails, historical figures, and regal divas in our collection. Dawnamatrix Designs fuses the beauty and elegance of kimonos with the sensuality and graphic quality of latex and also specialize in historically inspired garments from various time periods and cultures. Intricate appliqué is a prominent feature of Dawnamatrix Designs garments and each one is a unique work of art. Dawnamatrix kimonos and garments have been displayed as textile art in museum and gallery spaces around Boston, including the State House of Representatives, Harvard University, the Boston Children's Museum, and the Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation. Dawnamatrix has graced the runways of Boston Fashion Week, Montreal Fetish Weekend, Capital Punishment D.C., Smack! NYC, New York Rubber Ball, and Providence Fetish Weekend. You can see our designs in magazines such as Marquis, Skin Two, Von Gutenberg, Leg Show, Rabid, and Alt Noir. In 2011, Dawnamatrix Designs was honored to sponsor fundraiser events for the Japan Red Cross Tsunami Relief Fund and the Boston Globe Santa Fund. Dawnamatrix takes latex fashion to a higher level.
