My name is Zach Welty, I\'m from St. Louis, MO. At age 11 I moved to Lebanon County, PA, and attended middle, and high school there. At age 18 I moved back to St. Louis to be closer to my Father and extended family. From there I worked a few part time jobs, and attended Meramec Community college, not really sure what I was interested in doing at the time. I had always been interested in art, but never really focused much energy on it, until I stumbled upon the art of wire wrapped jewelry. It blew my mind, I thought it was amazing what people could create out of wire and gem stones. One day I picked up some scrap in a friend of mines floor and started twisting. Once I left, I went to the local craft store and bought some craft wire and pliers and got to work. As of now: 2.5 years later, I\'m about to begin a metalsmithing class and plan to continue evolving as a jeweler and as an artist.
