Visual Art – Minneapolis
My name is Dexa and I am a Minneapolis based artist. I graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2011 with a B.A. In Art and Sociology. I am currently painting an anthropomorphic series inspired by the concept of social media addiction, social media "persona" , and the impact that has on social behavior and human interaction. In general, my art is strongly influenced by gender politics, social media phenomenon, and interpersonal relationships.
