Fans have come to expect a diverse menu of bass music within a single showcase, covering hip hop to drum & bass, and everything in between. His eclectic fascinations with audio are revealed through his eccentric use of video game sounds, horror movie samples, TV theme songs, & pop culture sound effects peppered throughout his sets. Curiously, thanks to his experience as a clown, coupled with his background in performing arts, no Throdown showcase is complete without the appearance of polka dot ties, gold chains, laser guns, and balloon animals.
Throdown\'s unparalleled performance style has earned him 2nd place in the 2013 DC DMC regional DJ battles, made him a finalist in the 2010 WMC DJ Battles, and positioned him as a main attraction at some of the country\'s biggest music festivals, including SXSW and Big Dub Festival.
